SquareFoot office search with a map, building clusters and filters for size, price and must-haves.
Location, size, budget and the available spaces, brought into one search experience.

Make a complicated search approachable.

Looking for office space brings together questions about location, budget, team size and the character of a place. SquareFoot helped businesses explore those choices and find their next space.

I joined as employee #2 and worked across the product, brand and front end. The core experience connected map-based search with the details people needed to evaluate a building or an individual space.

Connect the search to the building.

The search interface paired the map with practical filters, so a business could narrow the options without losing a sense of location. Listing pages brought the next layer of information into focus: the property, its available spaces, photos and the surrounding area.

Build the identity alongside the product.

I designed the SquareFoot logo and early brand identity alongside the product experience. I also worked on city and neighborhood pages that helped people orient themselves before narrowing their search.

Working across identity, interface and front-end implementation helped me keep the experience consistent, from someone’s first impression of SquareFoot to their search for an office.
