I had the opportunity to design a new site for CoverQuest while part of the talented team at Cyberwoven.
About
CoverQuest is an online retailer of quality boat, auto, and RV covers since 1997.
Goals
The company sought a new user experience that:
- emphasized custom search over any other web service.
- employed a search process that was intuitive, simple, and easy to replicate across it’s three primary product groups.
- neatly showcased product information.
Approach and Features
The new CoverQuest design:
- introduces product search as the primary user element.
- presents key product attributes in a consistent way, despite the fact that product source data was coming from 5 independent manufacturers with varying database structures.
- allows the organization to promote sales, discounts, and special events.
- makes checkout transparent and easy.
